I have over 33 years in public education. I have a keen interest in national and state politics. I have had the opportunity to lobby members of Congress and members of the General Assembly about public education. I am a former Republican precinct committee man and I felt frustrated by the lack of direction from the Party. I think the ALA will have more success with grass roots organizing then the Illinois Republican Party and I would like to be a part of it. Thank you.
